Sometimes I wish my thoughts would write themselves. The times I’m most inspired to write is when I’m at my weakest, but all the more reason why I don’t want to remind myself of the experience. There have been a few nights where I’ve sat up writing out everything on my mind, only to completely erase it all a few minutes after because I can’t stand visual confirmation...

Watching Dance Moms
Cute 7-year-old girl: I really like dancing a lot, but I don’t want to go on Broadway. I just want to sit at home..and eat chips. *giggle*
Little kids are freaking hilarious, but that’s exactly how I feel right now. Let summer commence!
Note to Self:
Forgiveness is not approval of what someone did was okay. It means to release them from the debt you want from them. If we don’t forgive, He won’t forgive us.
How to Spot a Good Guy 101:
someone that values my ambition and pushes me to strive for more, but also knows my limits— not someone who finds it “annoying” for me to want something better for myself. A guy who’s okay with being Dwayne Wade while I’m being Lebron James. Someone who’s proud of my successes, while I cherish his too. Where’s Jay-Z when you need him?
35 things to-do before I die:
I found this FB note I wrote in 2008 when I was 16, modified it a little to fit my 19-year-old present day self, and hope to be able to cross off a few more things every year. :)
1. go on an african safari 2. learn how to snowboard and fall on my ass a million times so i can feel the overwhelming soreness of an amateur snowboarder :)..and then sip hot chocolate next to the fiyah 3. learn how to...

#1 pet peeve:
when people call me Sophie. I feel like that’s something you name doggies or grandmas. A lot of people I meet have a strange inclination to call me Sophie even when I repeatedly tell them my name is Sophia!!!! WHY. Mrs. Ashcraft called me Sophie for almost the entire year in Spanish 1 even though I wrote my ‘A’ extra large on all my assignments. :(
There’s a fine line between being open-minded to new situations and compromising your morals, but how do we distinguish between the two?

Things I hate in my food: cilantro, garlic, onions, green onions, bell peppers, mayonnaise, and mustard. I’m feeling a little sick even reading that list of ingredients that should never have been invented!
I thought they were brother and sister at first….

I worry.
A lot. About my future. About where I’ll end up and if I’ll truly be happy because that’s all I really want. Someone recently asked me where I saw myself in 10 years…and the only answer that really rang in my head was “In 10 years, I just hope I’m happy.”
